The Huckleberries

Back by very popular demand from last year.
If these guys don't get your feet tapping then nothing will!
Beginning life in 1996 as a busking duo in Bournemouth , The Huckleberries are now a six piece band who play a lively mix of jigs, reels and bluegrass combined with traditional and contemporary dance rhythms. They are: Dave Hum (5-string banjo/mandolin/harmonica), Paul Sax (fiddle), Simon Ham (guitar), Ismael Sanchez (electric bass), Neil Evans (drums, percussion) and Duncan Stewart (mandolin, mandola). The band gather their musical influences from traditional folk, bluegrass, latin, eastern and celtic music and combine this with global dance rhythms and good time stomps which is proving to have a wide appeal in all sections of the music loving public. They have performed at a wide range of festivals, including Glastonbury and the Larmer Tree, and have received wide recognition for their albums ‘Reelgrass' and ‘Jigweed'. Their latest album is ‘Incahoots'.
